Ok I know there are some people on here whom ride:

Jared - Mountain bikes

Colin - Mountain bikes and classic fastbacks

John - Used to ride his road bike

Tom - Used to ride BMX modded with a 5spd set-up

Myself - Perfer Mountain bikes, but also ride classic cruisers, tandems, BMX and a road bike when I have to.

Lori - Classic cruiser, and Mountain bikes



So is there anyone else, did you use to ride a bike, still do, what's the story?

HAHAHA feel is a kids thing now and wouldn't be caught dead on one?

Love the classics, want to collect and/or restore them?

Like the history and how it all came to be?

Love the art and love collecting it?

How bikes are still used in eastern civilization today?

I have a diamond back mountain bike collecting dust in the closet . . . never used it much . . . and I rode BMX bikes when I was a kid, nothing cool, mainly as a poser. There is something fun about going as fast as you can, coupled with the occasional front flip over the handle bars.

That Cruiser is sweet, if I'm not mistaken you have a licence plate for it, or is that the "old school" style police registration plate?

I knew you rode off road by you pics on you MS account, looks like your full squishy is an FSR?

I will have to admit, fat tire cruisers are a pain to transport, I tie mine down the back of the Flareside like motorcycles, two straps, one on each side of the handle bars

BTW what kind of cruiser is that, and it looks like you have a two tone saddle.

I used to do 35 mile rides with my dad's group Sunday mornings.(when i was in high school).
We had road bikes with the clip in shoes.

Always had a regular bike. I used to ride to swim team and back.
I just inherited my brothers old bike (mine was stolen a few years ago).
It is a diamond back. He bought some fancy off road bike with shocks in the front. It is neat.
I was thinking of giving my new bike from Tom to Randall and buying myself a touring bike. I want a big seat and sit up straight.
All i do is ride on the street or the bike path next to the Bayou downtown.
I do not want to off road in Memorial Park like Tom does. Although, he says it is crazy cool out there.

Here's a pic of the Cruiser that Jeff got me for my b'day and Christmas.



Mine has actually been modified just for me. He put gears on it, new tires with whitewalls, and whte skull and crossbone valve stem covers. He also changed the black wiring to white and used pink zip-ties so it would all be colored coordinated, along with a new bell.

Now if the freaking weather would cooperate so I could go ride it.

I also have a Cannondale MB that is pretty cool. Bought it at a pawn shop for like $150 a few years ago. I'm not into the competitiveness like Jeff but like to go ride in the dirt sometimes, so it's fits me fine.
