Lol. Soylent Green is a film adaptation of the novel Make Room! Make Room!, wherein the societal issues of over population, exorbitant health care costs, and food shortage are 'solved' by processing people of a certain age into food for the remainder of the population.

Ah......so my interpretation of the logo was fairly astute then. My apologies tho don't get to stay very current with tv & cinema....still in theaters or more readily available?

I've had this theory for awhile tho eventually society will resort to some form of cannibalism. Numerous species currently do now...i don't think any of us will live long enough to see it, well atleast 'upclose' it may begin in other parts of the world b4 we're gone...i know it'll be preceded by peanut butter, think the 'goop' we send over to starving africans, as the staple food source. 2 table spoons is sposed to have a day or meals worth of nutrients.....

Time will tell...i really hope I don't have to eat Chris tho, not cuz i won't, but in the least I figure indigestion, but more likely diarrhea.

Don't spend any money to watch Soylent Green.

It is a dark and pessimistic view of the world, full of the assumptions propagated by the environmentalists. Soylent Green assumes that all of us are shiftless and lazy, and will simply lay around waiting for the government to save us. However, if you enjoy bad writing and bad acting and cheesy lame sets, it might be your kind of movie. Seriously, it will make the dialog of most porno's look like literary master pieces. And I am being nice in my assessment of the movie.

Now, would someone please post some pictures of a great meal?

I forgot to take pictures, but my granddaughter and I turned a dozen fresh tomatoes into a delicious pasta sauce tonight.

Sadly this evening was a boring sandwich and soup I do like the idea of making your own pasta sauce. Something we'd like to do is grown a vegetable garden if we ever get a fence so the damn deer don't come ruin it!

Here is a better plan than growing a vegetable garden....

Make Friends with someone who grows a vegetable garden. I get tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies from friends who grow too much to use themselves.
