When I have bought computers here at work lately, I have gotten the 19" Samsung LCD monitors with these fancy stands. The Neo-Flex stands allow the monitors to be rotated 90 degrees.

So yesterday I pondered, if the stand will rotate the monitor 90 degrees, will the graphics driver allow me to rotate the screen image 90 degress also. Sure enough the graphics driver had that ability. I thought that was pretty cool. I have never run a monitor in Portrait mode. I wasn't content with just one Portrait monitor, so I slammed another graphics card in this desktop computer and hooked up another Samsung monitor to it. We shall see how long I can run this setup before people get too jealous.

On the desk on the opposite side of my office, I have my laptop setup with dual screens too. The laptop is a 15.4" wide screen connected to a docking station with a 19" Widescreen Xerox LCD monitor hooked to it.

What's best? Portrait screen or Landscape?

I think it will be cool to read webpages and office documents on the Portrait mode screens.
