Well kids, after bouncing around the world We've made it to Kuwait. We're going to be here for a couple of days getting some briefings and doing some training. It's not to bad here, but I'm used to living with 70 other dudes. All in all it's been uneventful, just getting ourselves and our gear ready to head up North. I've taken a bunch of pics already but it took me about 15 minutes to get here since the internet is so slow. When I get on a better connection I'll post some up. Also here is my Addy

I've finally made it up north and the FOB we're at isn't to bad. We're in the middle of the city but we're living in actual buildings instead of tents. We have a real DFAC, PX,, Swimming pool & movie theater to name a couple of things. All in all way better than Afghanistan ever was. I should even be getting my own room, which will be great. All in all there isn't a whole lot going on, Once I get my laptop hooked up to the internet I'll post up some pics.

Well Holiday Greetings from the land of sand and sun. Though it's really sand as it is dust/shit and it's really not sunny here. Infact it's actually cold here, it's only about 45 today. All in all things have been pretty dull here, I'm sitting on internet guard today so my soldiers can have the day off. But it's alright, I get to use the internet for the next 3 hours. I wish I had some thing incitful and exciting to share but there really isn't much to tell. I do alot of BS work and watch alot of movies. Hopefully once we get settled in we'll be able to get a schedule going and stay more active. I hope everyone back there in the states is having a got Christmas. It certainly doesn't feel like it here.

Well kids it's another day in paradise here in beautiful Iraq. If you haven't already heard it snowed here for the first time in like 60 years... So needless to say it's a bit on the chilly side, it's more like winter back home in Jersey than it should be a desert. Where is this global warming that I keep hearing about? It needs to get here sooner. Other than that it's been pretty dull, pretty much been doin my job here and there and building shelves. Yes shelves who knew building shelves was part of electronics maintenaince? I didn't, but thats ok it keeps me sniffing glue. We had a mortar land on the FOB today, about 100 ft from where I was taking a shower, I think I pooed my pants a little bit. At first I thought it might have been someone moving something but it was a little to early in the morning for that and it shook the building. Fortunantly no one was hurt, Al Qeada sucks, America rules. 'nuf said. I posted some more pics up on EF, If i can figure out a way to post them on here I will.

It's been a while since I got on here and said anything.. It's almost a week short of a year since I've left and we are almost done, I should hopefully be home soon after the New Year. It's certainly been eventful there have been some ups and alot of downs. I'm done with this damn country and if I never step foot back here again I'll be a happy man. On the flipside I did buy a new motorcycle and I'm going to the promotion board this month. I also reenlisted and I'm going to be leaving Fort Polk and heading up to Fort Meade, MD. I hope I can get out and see everyone before I leave for MD, I won't have the explorer (it's still broke, big suprise :\) but I'll ride along and take pictures.
