Reaper is PISSED!
Posted: Mon Jul 20, 2009 6:53 pmSo as I mentioned in another thread, Reaper is severely pissed off. Not sure if he got jealous (I mean, we have had the Super Snake race car and the Mustang Terlingua for weeks) and he hasn't been getting much attention or if he just finally got to the point where 168k miles caught up with him. Anyhoo, he still has the parasitic draw that we can't find. He is completely torn apart on the inside from us checking wires and replacing the GEM module. Right now though, we have been too swamped to try and figure it out anymore. We have been on strict deadlines with the Super Snake and Terlingua, now add the Snake Trailer (add a winch and generator) and everything has to be done by the 1st of this month. 
But we have some very trusting and great friends who have let me borrow, and offered, their Mustangs to me so I won't feel so bad. I drove Violetta's while she was in Europe. Then when she got back, Scary said I could take his 04 Mustang that is like Reaper (his foot is in a cast and won't be able to drive it for several weeks) and then another friend handed me the keys to his 08 Mustang GT500 convertible
and told me to keep it for about a month while he recovers from foot surgery. Jeff thinks he was already on pain meds when he did that but I can say I have been having a blast! 
Now he's talking about putting me on the track with it (with slicks). I get all giggly thinking about it.
But I digress. I miss my Reaper and I talk to him everyday. After the 1st, Reaper is the priority and once we find the draw, I can put on his new cold air intake on that is getting powder coated by Jon, his new KYB adjustable shocks that are on layaway, and see if Jeff can hook up the Shaker 1000 system in him. Then off to get his paint job and have his Cobra R bumper, fog lights, and brake cooling ducts put back on. Plus, I keep hearing whispers of possibly a supercharger making it's way on there.
