Let's see, all 3 houses that are East of us have been put on the market and sold. The one right next door (where Pepsi man used to live) is now Roy and his girlfriend Janet, and her 3 kids. Roy likes guns and Harleys. He just sold one Harley but kept his beautiful custom bike. It's sexy! Janet likes to read, is trying to find a job in the medical profession, and we have been swapping books with each other. She just moved here from New Mexico and is kind of in culture shock.
Next door to them, in the 2nd house built by the dumbass, is a couple with young kids. Haven't met them yet, they just moved in this past weekend. In Shane and Hillary's house, we now have local Bastrop PD and his fiance, living there. He also drives a truck like Shane's so it's pretty funny. Shane is living in Austin now until he can find a job back in cold country to move up with Hillary and Gabe.
And lastly, just found out yesterday, that we have lost our spare driveway. Yes, the POS across the street has sold. Today, there are all types of shady characters painting and caulking. Not sure who was dumb enough to buy it but heck, all I can say is that it has been Mustang Central over here for months so they bought the house knowing what they were getting into.
