Well got the tranny leak fixed. Figured out too now that OD doesn't work????

Be glad if you have to pull the tranny your's will come out, unlike mine that stayed in the truck.

Is the tranny fluid topped off? If its low, the tc wont lock up. Are you sure its od Thats gone and not tc lockup

He says that the button isn't doing anything - and no dash light indication. Perhaps electrical?

Looks like that will be one of the first fixes when Russell moves down. I very seriously doubt its an issue with the trans thou. Most likely wiring or something is unplugged.

Just off the top of my head. Check for a small two pin connector under the dash to the right of the steering column...Thats where the overdrive cancel switch connects to dash harness. Ill double check when I get home for yea

also, check fuses f2.11 (7.5A) and f2.27 (15A) under the hood

Well still no OD.
Good news is I located the issue with the drain on the battery. Turns out, there are midgets living inside the Trac using the radio while I'm not looking.
Ok, actually apparently the kids had kicked the on switch to the power inverter that's hard wired in, oops. I took the battery up to Autozone where I bought it back in September, and the dude was having a bad day and didn't even bother to test the battery and just swapped it out. Win win for me haha.

Thats good you found the power drain. Still strange about the od not working. Im wondering is the switch is bad. Ngs can tell for sure. When would you want me to cone out? (i can say that now! Lol, Im a Texan)

ok, depending on what kris has planned, i might be able to make it over this next weekend, just depending. if not, then the next (of course this depends on my job situation) Also, when are we swapping out the core support and inner fender supports?
