Today Russell spent time extending the PCM harness 48" so the PCM will be in the stock location...

Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 12:32 pmWe are mounting the pcm in the stock first Gen location by modifying the second Gen engine bay harness and converting it to a hybrid first Gen harness. Its all very simple

Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 4:14 pmNo, it's a second gen harness from a 97 mountaineer that we are retrofitting to 'act' as a first gen harness by utilizing the first gen firewall connector but remaining largely intact as a second gen harness (relay boxes, PDB, Ect) negating the use of the first gen harnesses (2).

um, the second gen harness will replace the first gen harness and act as the replacement for the first gen harness by incorporating the first gen firewall connecotr (the big round plug) and the secondary connectors (think ac blower motor, frame harness, etc) into it. Doing it this way will make the body/dash harness play nice with the (1) engine bay harness just like it would with the (2) first gen engine bay harnesses
