For a while now, I've been bouncing back and forth between havering a dedicated trail vehicle or having a combo driver/wheeler. I finally decided to go forward with a combo driver/wheeler, and sold my pickup and snatched up this Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

The specs on this one are:
- 3.6L V6
- Automatic
- 4:1 transfer case
- Dana 44s front/rear
- Front/Rear lockers
- 32" BFG MUDs
- rock sliders

Yesterday Randall and I yanked the stock front bumper off and added a stubby bumper with a 9000 winch.

Future plans, not necessarily in this order:
- upgraded skid plates
- high clearance tube fenders
- 2.5" lift
- 35s
- rear bumper with tire carrier

So, it's time to go wheeling.

Oh nice 37's.

And it's "done". Big thanks go to Randall for the 12 hour workday yesterday. A couple more hours today wrapped everything up and the first drive went smoothly. I'll schedule it tomorrow for an alignment, but it seems pretty good as is. Not sure why them one pic is there twice. Also, please excuse the quality of the photos, the heavens opened up here right as I finished, so no good out in the poem shots.

J/P.....it does look good, & better yet ur actually using it, not just crawling the malls. I respect that more then anything about "offroad" & "lifted".....wish 37s went on everything so easily.


trivia question since u have the rubicon....anyone know the first stock production vehicle to conquer the rubicon?
