Interesting, I checked out the leather seats, kinda pricey for what I can do right now, but if they're actual replacements and not just fit over it's something to look into. Plus the Trac could use a new floor.

Well, if you take out your trac's floor, I'll take it.

I went ahead and ordered a black vinyl flooring, complete set (passenger & cargo area), from the first link in the original post.

How much was shipping? The one for the trac is only $118, cheap enough to replace the worn out one in mine.

Shipping was about 40 for mine.

I got to check out the vinyl flooring Randall ordered, nice material but I think it needs to be thicker and a little more squishy so it's not to require the jute (padding) underneath. That way it can truly be used in an offroad fashion, so that it doesn't soak up water in the jute and create mold etc. It's a very hard material so it seems durable. Anyone have any ideas on what to use as a padding underneath vs jute that will help deaden sound?

In addition to sound deadening, insulation from heat, such as the transmission, is also a concern. My initial thought was to use the stock carpet underneath the vinyl, but as Parker mentioned, that may create a breeding ground for mold.

Picture the Trac the rubber flooring at about 1/4 of inch thick and really tough. No give at all, which was my first concern. Which means it'll hold up, but like Randall stated, wants further sound deadening and insulation for heat, so what would be the next step? The Trac's rubber flooring is really thick and has give to it (such as carpet does). I do know the bottom of the trac has a laid down black substance under the rubber flooring that resembles stuff like spray on bed liner which may act as a sound deadening agent.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping that what I was getting was like the trac's flooring.

So it doesn't have the jute padding or does it? I know the sport trac flooring has the jute like stock carpet does
