I'm going to retire the Cobra hand held that's in the Trac (as I couldn't hear a few of y'all when we used them on the run that one time and it's all wrapped up in tape). So I'm looking for recommendations what y'all are running. Also, I'll need a new antenna, recommendations on that as well.

I know Randall said he's rocking the Uniden PRO520XL 40-Channel CB Radio

I believe that Kris is running the Uniden as well.

No one else has any comments?

How crazy are you looking to get? If u just want to chit chat you've got a good one. I'm not sure the difference in antennas. Other than magnetic and fixed.

You need one with a booster. You know the ones that allow you to transmit over 200 miles.

Im sure you already ordered it. But im also rocking an older uniden. Dont know the model # but its a uniden none the less. And I mounted the antenna on the driverside cowl. Havent had issuea with it since....or at least till the truck was parked in a field/barn.

I have't ordered yet, got side tracked with other things. But I'll be doing it probably once I hear for sure the Trac is done.
