Ok, I know some of you have reserched this and know the answer, (Kris), but what I would like to knowis which will work and what converts over.

Can I use a BII or a Ranger, and what years, plus what shifters, is one shifter nicer looking/more funtional than the other?

I have a 5spd 4wd Navajo here too to do a complete swap, so I have been thinking about going full manual.

Direct bolt on is what I am looking for.

well you need a 13-54 manual shift Tcase for a bolt in swap. If you find one get the shifter with it (very expensive new) You can use a 13-50 T-case out of a B2 auto tranny modle. but it wont be a direct bolt in. You would need driveshaft modifcation and you low range would be higher...
