I saw a truck in the parking lot at school that has gator guard all over it. It looks sweet. It's thinner than herculiner, which would allow more ease of opening doors and such, and it weighs a lot less than herc. I don't know the specs on Herc, but gator guard has a tensile strength of 4500 lbs, a flexural strength of 5500 lbs, and a Shore D hardness of 73. It's also a lot cheaper than Herc. I might go in later and do just the rocker panels in herc, or I might leave well enough alone.
My Truck
Demon4x4.com
Explorer4x4.com
TEXplorers.com
