Jeff started working on Reaper last night to fix his leaky pinion seal and to replace the pinion and carrier bearings.

Ok, Jeff had to take the bearings to work to press them out and to press the new ones in. The gears and axle shafts look to be fine, so we are not exactly sure what is going on, but hopefully this will fix whatever issues we are having.

Well, our camera died when Jeff and Zavaral were putting Reaper back together so no pics. However, when the tires were going back on, Zavaral noticed something seriously wrong with my right rear tire....the tire is fixing to shred the tread.

Ok, so first, Jeff tells me not to go over 70 mph. Next, Jeff finds some used Kuhmos on Craigslist...I call. Guy tells me that he bought them for his Firehawk to use at the dragstrip. They are used, but pretty much in new condition, plenty of tread left. Ok, so Babygirl (Brandy) and I drive to Georgetown to pick them up. They are more than new, you can tell the wear pattern from which side of the car they were on, however, there is still plenty of tread and I got them for pretty cheap considering. I am going after work today to see Zavaral to have them mounted and balanced.

Did I mention that they are 275/?/R17? Big ole fatty tires on the back compared to my 235s right now.

So is that where the vibration was coming from then?

Hopefully that's the probelm.

Those 275s will look mean on there compared to the 235s!
