I'm not sure how many of you saw Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett, one of my favorite movies. Well, they are making a sequel that, in addition to having Cate Blanchett reprise her role as the queen, returns Geoffrey Rush as Walsingham.

The film had its World Premiere on September 9, 2007 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
It was filmed at Shepperton Studios, and on the following locations around the UK: Westminster Cathedral, Ely Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, Wells Cathedral, Burghley House, Petworth House, Dorney Court and St. John's College, Cambridge.
