Comparison of the rod ends that I had purchased previously, and forgot about, compared to the new ones (Ballistic Fabrication 1.25" Forged Rod Ends).

I'm headed up to TAG next Saturday to pick up my rear axle.

I had it dropped off to install the 5.13 gears and install kit, Detroit locker, and crane cover.

Artec: 3/8" thick mild steel truss top and 1/4" mild steel ram mount and gussets. Precision CNC cut and bent for great fitment.*

Ballistic: The top plate is cut from 3/8" plate for maximum strength.

So, basically the same.

At any rate, I've decided to go with this full hydro set up. It will also allow me to be a little more flexible in locating the front axle, since I won't be beholden to the steering box/pitman arm location.
