No. They need to be painted on the truck.

They'd have to grind the paint off in order to get a good weld. So just paint them on the truck.

The base of it gets welded on, then the adjustable portion adjusts off of that base.

They'll still be adjustable when they're welded on. They're adjustable by the many holes in the sides. Bolts hold the bucket and backers together.

Ahhhh that was what Randall was saying. When we find the correct height have them weld it in place them as well in the correct hole , no?

That part is optional, but is what I would likely do. You could leave it adjustable.

I'd leave it adjustable. Grade 8 bolts would be sufficient enough without welding everything together.
