It might be getting close to time to start thinking about a game plan for getting my d60 under the truck. I've been leaning in several different directions on which methods to use to get it under there. I am of course on a budget of $00000, so that is a factor.
My plans range from a tricked out 4 link to attempting to weld C-wedges on the d60 so that it pretty much bolts in place with the radius arms that I currenlty have on the truck. I'm going to start doing a little more research on it and see what I come up with. Thoughts?

Mine happens to be a 1979 axle, so this should work. Only thing is that I am not sure how much narrower an Explorer frame is than a full size Bronco. The narrower it is will cause the axle to be located farther and farther away from the front of the truck. In which case I would need extended arms of some sort or to move the mounts forward. The added angle would help with tire rub issues though. Might have to make new radius arms. Jeff, how is your welding?

In a few weeks you can carbon copy my 3 link if you want. It should translate just fine to the D60 and I doubt it would be an issue to reuse your coils instead of coilovers. The more I look at different link setups, it just seems stupid easy to do.
