Tread Lightly! is now selling Trail Markers that offer consistent messaging promoting responsible recreation across all boundaries and environments! They can be placed on existing Trail Signs at state parks, wildlife management areas, OHV trailheads, federal campgrounds and recreation areas! Check them out!

Trail Markers – Ride On Designated Routes

These educational Trail Markers offer consistent messaging promoting responsible recreation across all boundaries and environments. The reflective material and UV rated ink used in the design allow for long term use and are designed to be placed on existing Trail Signs at state parks, wildlife management areas, OHV trailheads, federal campgrounds and recreation areas. 3" x 24".

The Ride On Designated Routes message communicates responsible behavior expected by land managers and land owners as well as the importance of treading lightly and respecting others and the environment to help keep access open.

So are they wanting people to buy these and stick them on trail signs, or the owners of the actual trails?

Well I'd be all over sticking them where we go if we didn't have to pay for them.
