The swap is good for trail rigs only and what they did on pirate was different then what I did

I gave him my swap after removing it from the Navajo

If I understand correctly, you used a spacer/sleeve in the D44 knuckle to use the D35 ball joints, rather than reaming out the D35 beams to accept a D44 ball joint. Is this correct? Do you think it would have worked better to do it that way (D44 ball joints)?

No the 44 ball joints would have not worked the post were not made the same from what I remember

Hence why you would ream out the D35 beam to use them.

Great info Randall.. Thanks for sharing. I might look in to some of these options when I start working on Russell's Navajo. Im sure I will be doing the build up on that one any way.
