Spare Parts
Ewwwww
Randall, was your truck running hot?
Kind of a muddy radiator....
and not too much coolant came out of the system.
And now, the Dr. has a nurse.

Well, Brandon didn't want to help move some folks, so he decided to come over and help SVO and Zavaral out.
And yeah, they found the rest of your coolant Randall. It was in the motor.

Uh, so, is coolant in the motor like, bad or something?
What has to be changed with regards to the crank?
It wasn't running hot at all really. About middle of the guage like usual.

Ok, so the crank has bolts that hold the flywheel to it, Ford changed the design from a 6 bolt set-up to an 8 bolt set-up I guess thinking that the 8 bolt design was better/stronger.
Unfortunately this means the fly wheel that came off Randall's motor will not work on Kris'.
The only way this can be fixed is either get another motor OR install a 6 bolt crank into the motor that is going in the truck OR get an 8 bolt flywheel.
Yes the Beast was low on coolant, no biggie as the motor was to be change anyways, BTW I also noticed the heads had been replaced on the motor that I pulled out.
Other thngs I noticed were radius arm piviot brackets were loose, and a nut missing off the transfer case to transmission, loose shock mounts, worn out bushings on the shocks, and a bunch of icky poo everywhere.
