1350 Manual Transfer Case

Ok guys, I just scored a 1350 manual transfer case out of and unknown year model Ranger for $50 (if it works).<br><br>I also found a front driveshaft out of a 1986 Bronco II with the same slines/slip yoke as the T-case too.<br><br>No I didn't get, nor have the shifter, so guys my question is:<br><br>Can I make this work for resonable monies?<br><br>Is the front driveshaft going to work?<br><br>Which shifter will I need? You will need a Manual T-case shift for and Auto Transmission Ranger with a 13-50 t-case. Thats pretty easy to find really. And you might as well just cut a hole in the Floor since It is really just a wheeling truck.<br> <p></p><i></i>

On All Explorer you will notice that the drive shaft bolts to the T-case. On the 1350 T-case that is Not true. On 91-94 Explroers they have four Bolt and double cardan u-joint. on 95+ Explorers the Out put looks like a Plate.<br><br>If you have a 91-94 Explorer get a 1354 and you wont have to worry about Drive shaft mods. <br><br>If you have a 95+ get a 91-94 Transfer case and a 91-94 Front Drive shaft. <br><br>Any Explorer owner should not bother installing a 1350 T-case<br> <br> <p></p><i></i>

That is True. <br><br>1. A 13-54 T-case has different ratios then a 13-54. Your Low range will not be as low.<br><br>2. The manual Shift linkage you will need will have to be from a Bronco II or ranger with an Auto Transmission and a 13-50 t-case to bolt to your Transmission.<br><br>3. You have to replace your Front drive shaft with a 13-50 drive shaft and it might be too long so you might have to shorten it<br><br>Hench why I said not to bother with a 13-50 T-case.<br><br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>
