Ok first off, we'd probably get bitten by something in my back yard. Klare never came over so he wouldn't know.....

So let me be more specific, pick out like a state park. Like here in Marble Falls we have "Ink's Lake", pretty cool place to camp and not pricey.

Well, I'm not sure what parks are close to off roading areas. There is always Mustang Island. You can go down to the road to Aransas National Park. There are some pretty parks in the hill country. I am also a fan of Palo Duro. However, that is a bitch of a drive.

Well for this camping trip, I was thinking maybe just a camping trip, where we're not concentrating on the trucks. Just kicking back, grilling, drinking, fishing etc..hanging out. Anyone object?

Bastrop state park.. I hear there is not much shade. but I am sure the prices are good.

Sad deal there. I went to Bastrop a year before the fire. As far as the prices role they are still the same. If yall want that area Buscher was unaffected. If yall are feeling ballsy, we could go to Falcon Lake Park.

Pedernales Falls looks interesting. I have never been there though so I have no idea.

My buddie's land in Schroeder. 30 minutes from Victoria. Free camping and wheeling.

Klare, do you have any pictures of this area you can post? If this place has a nice spot for us to put up some tents, and be able to put a fire in the ground to grill it's be perfect for all of us.

As long as we don't have a burn ban in effect we can have a fire. The owners are like my family. We always setup tents and wheel out there.

I tried sleeping in my Explorer a couple times. Not as confortable as I would have thought, lol.
