Camping Trip

Ok, well now that we have Russell here finally (welcome to Texas ) - let's plan a camping trip before it gets unruly hot.

We don't have to wheel, specially since I know my rig is not ready, but we plan a weekend and just hang out, do some grilling, fishing, playing cards, washers, messing with the locals whatever. But being outdoors having fun for a weekend.

Since a couple are in Austin, and the surround areas, we actually have a nice place here about 20 mins from me called Ink's lake, not too pricey and they have a lake and all kinds of stuff to do.

They have areas where we can rent to pitch tents, or we can rent a cabin that has 4 beds in it. And I believe we could pitch a tent at that same site with the cabin. But they have grills we can throw charcoal in and what not.

So throw out your ideas to go to a place if you don't agree with what I've suggested, and or dates (hopefully near future - maybe june?)

I'd be game for a Demon camping trip, can only be listed as a maybe since I never know what route I am gonna be on and what days (if any) I am off for a weekedn.

Kris, I need to know what weekend you have off in June, so we can plan for the camping trip that weekend - that is of course if you want.


So the plan is, I would like to do this in June, Dorn is down, so we'll plan around Kris' weekend off then. Anyone who wants to join please do.

Let me know Kris, I'll get with the folks at Ink's Lake and get our reservation, and cost comparison etc..

My friends land in goliad county. 400 acres it's my personal playground for my trucks. We have atv's to ride around and show you guys the property and need to get a wheeling trip going out there.

Ok, so now it looks like we are talking about two different trips:

1. Cabin style camping up near Austin

2. Work Weekend style in Justin's secret getaway.

I'm down for either, or both.

I believe he said cabin style, the place I'm talking about has both sites with cabins and with out. But f'it we can do that place another time. I say since we're the only ones responding, plan a trip up to Justin's "hideaway", clearing out shit while drinking :p

I would assume we would not need our offroad rigs for this (specially since mine doesn't 4x4 yet) - just hanging out, drinking, grilling, clearing trails?
