Just called my buddy at a junk yard here he said a single cab ranger would cost me $200-300. Really thinking about this more hardcore now.

What years? How much for an extended cab?

Also - which vehicle are you doing this to, the 91?, the 92, or both? I ask because this thread is for the 91 - but your thread for the 92 on another site lists a ranger cab as a future mod.

I only have one rig it's the once 92 (kris and michael's old rig) now its a 91. I'd have to explain on the phone or in person. The cab I was quote for is a regular cab no interior, which I don't need. I'm going by the junk yard to see if he has a extended cab tomorrow. He told me $300-400 if he has one.

I'm gonna take measurements tomorrow on the regular cab and ext cabs tomorrow and look at where the body mounts will be. The front clip and front floor board mounts should be the same as the explorer.

Oh, I see, you retitled this thread. I thought this was the thread for your old black one.

From what I have read, the body mounts that you mentioned are the only ones that line up, regardless of whether you get standard or extended cabs. Doesn't hurt to measure, of course.

We'll be going to c&d today to look to see what is avalible to do this. Honestly thinking about not even running doors on the ranger cab if I do go ahead asks decide to change the bodies.

I do but I'm already tired of it. I'm gonna do a totally crazy color. Oh and we got a plan together on how we'll swap bodies. Use a tractor with a crane attachment. I start this weekend tearing the ranger cab apart. Have a friend coming to remove what's left of the windshield. Then I'll rip everything out of the engine compartment and inside the cab. I'm gonna bedline the whole inside fire wall, doors, roof, rear wall and floor. Also since I won't be running a internal cage, I'm gonna weld a spreader bar between the b-pillars so I can install 5 point harnesses for my mastercraft seats.
