So the transmission hasn't played very nice with doing the 5.0 in a stock height 4wd explorer. I have the motor as low as it can go on the frame which gives me about a 1/4" to 1/2" on clearance till it hits the pivot bracket.
This has it about 1.5 Inches higher in the engine bay over a second gen. so the Exhaust was shooting straight in to the fire wall and I could not get the bell housing on the trans to squeeze into and tuck up to the body, it was hitting the floor pan. So I installed a one inch body lift to help with the clearances.
now I have room for the exhaust now too.
now I have to raise the front bumper and grill guard.
