Need to make our portable foldable grill

Randall and I had discussed making a collapsable grill top with legs. Basically just something that's portable that has the top that we can grill on and legs that fold under it for easy storage. That way if there is nothing available where we camp, we bust it out. Needs to be tall enough to where we can shove firewood/coa etc under it and be able to use it. I'd also like to adapt a strong enough pole that goes up above it and has a hook so we can take kettle or pot etc from it to keep things warm.

I figure we could all chip in to make this, meaning money for materials, or if anyone knows where we get can some scrap metal to make it and of course welding.

Thoughts?

This isn't anything that we'd be trusting our lives to, or with any real structural integrity. I'd be happy to let you do it, if you think you can do a better job.

I hardly see how it's structural integrity, or lack thereof, would have any impact on that.

I wasn't meaning the welds. I was referring to the grill it's self, to not underestimate it's importance.
