You are welcome Parker... Sadly I didn't make it back out to that sport trac today ill try the weekend before Xmas. I also plan to buy a 2wd navigator drive shaft thinking it might be long enough for the trac with the 4406. Just thinking it might be the right length.

It's shorter I have a shaft already that can be lengthened but hoping to find a direct replacement with out having to go to a driveshaft shop any time you need a drive shaft

Ok well hopefully the day is nearing where the Trac will be back as we've gotten the quote and TAG should be starting w/in the next two weeks from what I gather.

So now here's what I've got
- 1 new drivers leather seat (thanks to Kris!)
- New headlamps/turn signals (after market but look exactly like OE + new stud slots for them to slid into to be stable)
- My old grill painted red that I took off my old Trac before I sold it - I will slip that in place of the one that's peeling currently on here and hang the old up
- Kenwood DVD/Navi system
- New front bumper (at Kris' waiting to painted - status?)
- New bed assy (also status?)
- Upgrade the center console with the one from the Limited
- Upgrade the AC controls from the limited to be climate controlled
- Different transfer case for the new Solid Axle

Need
- New wheels - I'm debating if I'm going to go again with the same rock crawler style or some fancier (anyone need my old set of 5 I'll make a good deal)
- Tossing the idea of getting new a/m replacement fenders as the current ones are so distorted around where the turn signals mount
- A Pillar trim for driver/passenger side - so they'll snap into the existing parts - thinking of upgrading to a pillar pod to mount the tranny guage
- New radio bezel which will most likely need to be painted depending - put a bid in on one tonight on ebay.

Well that's all great news I'm glad to hear that the trac is moving along so I would think some time around the end of march beginning of April for it to be done? So I can plan to have the bed and other parts ready

Ok just bought this off ebay.

Image

Original thought was to paint it the dark grey that matches the interior and to have an extra switch for additional fog lamps and hole to run my USB cord into for the new Kenwood, but if we install the monitoring system into the center console, it's black and it'd all match. I guess we'll wait and see what condition it's in, or just paint both pieces lol.

Parker, on that subject...Aren't you wanting a full working message center, digital HVAC controls, and steering wheel with redundant controls, correct?

Easiest and quickest thing to do would be to just replace the entire dash harness with one from a 99-01 limited 5.0. It'll be a lot easier doing that then trying to wire in all those things individually.

Parker the harness I mostly the same from the limited and the st only difference is the addition of the message center wire and the difference in the wiring for the rear windows, honestly I do not share this idea of just swapping the harness. I think what would happen is we would pull the harnesses and have to build a new one from both.

Yea I think it'd be more of a pain the ass to do the whole harness swap. Still gotta figure the rear light issue and why the lights aren't working for the tranny and water gauge.
