The plan right now is still the original one, fix the suspension, replace the firewall, 5.0 with electric 4406 and full obd-2 conversion with second gen dash

, the guy (CopyKat) that makes some of the dana 44 TTB conversion drop brackets just had a radius arm mount/transmission crossmember spec'd out, but meant for A4LD/M5OD transmission (not sure how different you had to make the mount for the 4R55E (or whatever the fawk it is :finger).

No word on a price yet. But his drop brackets are pretty reasonable (around $250).

I believe the a4ld can be built to a reliable transmission I plan to experiment with the a4ld trans more over the summer

Replacing the internal components with that of 5r and 4r55e transmissions. All the internals are beefed up in these model transmissions.
