K1 Go-cart racing - Jr League

So I took Seth this weekend to K1 in Austin, indoor go-cart racing and he absolutely loved it. His first race, he placed 1st how freaking cool is that??? Me on the other hand sucked, I placed 8th in my first race. Oh well, I'm old lol.

So I'm thinking about offering to put him in their Jr. League racing. I'm waiting on a response to see the cost, and most importantly the days that they actually meet to do the racing since it's about 1.5 hours away from us.

Too bad none of the rest of us have kids. The only other members that could join are Klare and Timmy.

There was a dad there that had a go-pro that he attached to his kids cart once he got assigned, I think I'll do that next time for Seth.

Do they have a non junior league?

They have an adult league as well. They have a place in San Antonio and Houston as well.

You should give it a try. It's definitely very cool. Seth had two races and so did I. It's a adrenaline rush and very exciting.

How fast do they go?

I'm not really sure, they regulate the speed per cart as you go depending in how you're racing. But they go fast.
