I've never owned a vehicle with a keypad, so I'm curious why it takes seven wires to make it work. I figured maybe one code can unlock all doors instead of one, or maybe roll the windows down or something. Is this something that I could add to my Super Duty?

I like them cause if I want to I can roll up to a gas station keep the truck running lock the doors with the key in and come out and unlock with the keypad. Ac/heat stays on.

It takes seven wired because it has five buttons one wire each button,power and a ground need their own wires.

I'm sure you could add this to the super duty. You have power locks?

Would would have to add the rke module (If not equipped). Then add the key pad.

On stripe this was easier then most since the 93 limited rke is the same as a Taurus rke. I just robbed a connector with the wires from a Taurus and added the wires to my limited.

I picked up my fenders yesterday for stripe.



The amount they been cut back I should fit the 35s with no rubbing on the fenders.

Russell assembled the front end on stripe. Looks pretty good. We need it to be legal so we can drive it to Oklahomo so we can get the vin inspection done and get the title out of limbo

Yes it is you can see the inner fender structure sticks into the wheel well more than the fender does now.

Looking good. What's the VIN verification stuff? And why do you need to drive it there to do it?

Russell was to bring the truck to get the vin inspection done in Oklahoma before he left. This never happened. The title is in paperwork limbo till the vehicle makes a trip to Oklahoma to a tag agency for vin verification.

I been working on a few upgrades as I'll be soon moving forward on a front axle. I been driving this explorer around to verify the new drive train is happy and sound. Also the new ac blows cold.

I did install a cb and started making a switch panel for the additional switches I will be running.
