So finally ordered some new axle parts, thanks to Randall for the help on finding the correct parts to get.


Picked up some Warn 20990 Premium Manual Hubs, Dana Universal Joints, and Chromo inner and outter left axles. They should all be here in time for the gtg on the 6th for us to swap out.

Well we managed to get out the rubber flooring out of the parts trac, get the hubs and drivers side axles replaced. Thanks to all those who showed up and helped!

OK I just got off the phone with Larry. Apparently one of his body men went in after we left and did some work on it and said he got a good amount knocked out. Larry said he'll be starting the actual structural work this week, cutting out the rockers etc. His goal now is to have it done by the end of this month (fingers crossed, but those were his words). He did say when they went to go move it, it wouldn't stop and asked if we had disconneted the brake lines lol. I said nope, just took the calipers off but then realized we had to separate them so he said it almost rolled into another vehicle lol. Oops. Oh well.

looking.....well its still a sporttrac that's beat up & it looks just like that :p Glad progress is moving along & the meet was a success. I tried but failed....got in early AM Saturday & wifey didn't work....pick & choose....& I'm on thin ice so........

Has the frame been repaired? It's looking good.

Hasn't gone on the frame machine yet. According to his new timeline he's still shooting for the end of the month. We'll see.

End of Sept or October? The reason I say that is he would have to have a crew jump on it to get it done by the end of Sept. Kinda looks like it's filler work for guys that are idle in the shop. If that's the case my best guess would be end of Oct.
