Hey jeff, the bronco needs a new motor and I bought a rebuilt lower end from a machine shop employee who was building it for his roundy round racer!! knife edged stk crank, 30 over bore with 9.5-1 pistons, big cam. He was aiming for high end power and to turn it to 7,000 rpm, but sold the car with cash flow problems, anyway got it for $250.00 bucks, will probably need to change the cam, but my question is what are good small blk heads from this motor. Most of the stuff I have delt with is big blk fords for the mud, and you seem to be a semi expert on small blocks. All help is needed!!! Thanks MARK aka skitles

AFR are some good head, Edelbrock peformer are some good heads too, yeah a lower rpm cam is gonna have to happen, and try degreeing it too, that will also help in getting a few extra HP's out of the set-up without having to spend costly monies.

Edelbrock, has intake,cam and head packages that work really well also.

Thanks jeff!! I got the motor last nite and it looks good, but I noticed that the pistons stick out of the deck, is that normal, or does this thing have alot more compression than I was told??? fuck spell ck
