Ok, well we met up with the current owner (PAS & JAK) and sat down and discussed what was in the equipment transaction and over looked all of it.

We also discussed the landlord and his situation about the current takeover also, which didn't seem to be a problem either, now we just have to meet up with him.

I also got some current pictures of the place, now since John has pretty much taken over (JAK) and Greg just uses the place for hs personal whatever, john is not nearly as much of a clean frreak like Greg (PAS) or I, so please look beyond the nuclear fallout and you'll see what I envision:

Well as you can tell there will be a lot of cleaning to do, basically the vehicles will be gone and the tool boxes you see also included will the the red rack holding the shifter Kart and the heater and fans, one rack holding tech manuals will be leaving, everything else including the parts and such will just be left.

Lori and I are looking into a dumpster, gettting the details on the electric and Road Runner Light, along with insurance.

With creative manuvering you can get 4-5 vehicles inside and I'm alotted 5 parking spaces outside, the guys next door even have a chassis dyno!

oil/antifreeze reovery barrels & drain pans

and a bunch of stuff/junk/ dust bunnies/whatever you want to call it





Worst case, I still walk away with ALL the equipment, no matter what.

After some discussion, Jeff and I decided we needed a back-up plan. The landlord at the shop was being wishy-washy and just didn't want to end up empty handed at the end of all of this. So as I understand it, Jeff went cruising through the industrial part of town and stopped to talk to a guy at one of the shops over there. He happened to mention that one of the shops was available and gave Jeff the name of the realtor who handles all of the rentals for the owner. Jeff called her and she said she could meet him out there. He called me and wanted to know how far out I was and he told me to meet him there as well.

Looked at the shop, looked down the street at the Roadhouse, thought that this was less than 10 minutes from the house and was like ok, we need this shop. Told the realtor we were definitely interested and we'd call her this morning. Jeff and I discussed it more when we got home. This shop is smaller and more expensive, however, with the cost of gas and what it would cost us to have the shop in North Central Austin, we believe the costs would even out.

I called this morning and left a message for the realtor, but Jeff called her this afternoon to see if he could get the keys to take pics. Well, I met Jeff over there and we talked to the neighbors and such, Jeff got his pics, then the realtor showed up. Told us we could keep the keys, no biggie, and I'll go tomorrow to pick up the papers and it's officially ours as of the 15th.

Nice! Mark me down for the moving party. How much of the concrete pad next to the shop is yours? Do you still get to keep all the tools, lift, etc from the other shop.
