so i've posted this on Pirate with no responses, curious if anyone could help, i know this is more a ford anti HEEP crowd, but you all do know ur SHEET
"well i've tried to look up at the information for lengths for each driveshaft for stock XJ and WJ, i know the WJ wheelbase is little over 4" longer, but does that translate into driveshaft length also?
i have a 92 XJ, that i'm putting a 8" rock krawler kit on right now, i'm also putting in D44 Front and rear with rubicon express bracket kit.(front out of 87 waggy, rear from 95 rodeo; wanted disc brakes in all corners) knowing that i have to do something with the t-case &/or driveshafts, i was curious if you could use stock WJ shafts hoping that they are longer to put into this project, but with different transfer cases what exactly are we looking at in regards to fabrications?
adapters? changes to the yokes? any thoughts ideas? or just go SYE"
orig. i was thinking maybe square because it was going to be trailered all over but now will be driven some since i've sold off the trailer, due to it not being wide enough
